Pre-Bereavement Counselling
Pre-bereavement counselling, also known as anticipatory grief counselling, is a form of support provided to individuals who are aware that they will soon experience a significant loss, such as the impending death of a loved one due to a terminal illness.
The primary goal of pre-bereavement counselling is to help individuals and their families prepare emotionally and psychologically for the impending loss.
Post-Bereavement Counselling
Post-bereavement counselling is provided to individuals who have already experienced the death of a loved one.

The primary goal is to assist grieving individuals coping with their grief, to better understand the grieving process, and find ways to move forward with their lives.

This form of counselling provides a safe space for individuals to express their emotions, memories, and thoughts related to their loss.
Loss Counselling
Loss counselling is a broader term that encompasses support for individuals who have experienced any type of significant loss, not just the death of a loved one. Loss can include divorce, job loss, the end of a significant relationship, or any major life change that results in a sense of loss.

The goal of Loss Counselling is to help individuals process their feelings of grief and navigate the emotional challenges associated with their specific loss and find meaning and purpose in life after the loss.
